Message	X = Grocery stores and 1970 crusiers from "The Blues Brothers", rarely a real threat, maybe a cop 2% of the time..maybe... K = Police 90% of the time (slow down) Ka = Police 99.5% of the time (really slow down) Laser = Police all the time except for when it's a damn LED brake light or neon sign from a bar. (slow down and maybe get a drink) Once you get a couple tickets you should go look for a Valentine One detector on EBay or otherwise. The things have such a long range that you will get bored going slow and speed up before you get to the cop (I've almost done it twice...) Nothing else comes close to touching a V1 in real-life scenarios, regardless of what magazine tests say. ..and I hope yours isn't cordless ;) :i recently purchased a radar detector off ebay but it didn't come with a manual. when it detects something, it either say k band, ka band, x band, or something else. :could someone tell me what these bands refer to. thanks
